Win New Spring Bling with a Dansko Giveaway

They tell me spring is here, but you wouldn't know it by looking out my office window.  My view today is of wind whipping through the alley and snowflakes falling on my neighbor's rooftop.  Always an overachiever, I have already planted a few flowers in my yard and I'm hoping the new additions to my garden will survive this cold snap.  Despite the chilly weather, it's not to early to start scoping out spring fashions.

Making an appearance on my shopping list for spring are comfy but cute sandals and wedges.  I have plenty of strappy, high-heeled creations (like these zebra striped beauties I wore on a recent Fox shoot!) to sport for a late night out, but my closet lacks more practical footwear.  While in winter I typically hibernate indoors in my sweat pants, spring and summer call for daytime activities and outings.  Fortunately, Dankso, has come out with a line of chic but still comfy sandals for spring (fashionista Anna Kendrick was even spotted wearing the kicks!).

While most of us think of Dankso fondly as our 'nursing' shoes, the company has plenty of other offerings when it comes to fashion and function for your feet.  My favorite line, the Havana collection, features leather wedges perfect for pairing with jeans early in the season and shorts once your stems get some sun (try the Felicia shoe in sand).  If you're looking to copy Anna Kendrick's style, hit up the Mirabel collection for the Thea shoe in trendy colors like sky and tangerine.

Today, Dansko is partnering with MidlevelU to give one lucky reader their choice of any Dansko sandal for spring.  To enter, e-mail giveaways@midlevelu.com with the reason you could use some new sandals or wedges for your wardrobe.  Enter to win by midnight, Friday March 28th.

It's always been difficult to find shoes that fit me (I am a childrens size 2, or european size 32). I am a nurse practitioner and I'm on my feet all day. I finally was able to find Dansko KIDS that fit me at Zappos.com, however, they no longer carry the childrens size. The ones I have are getting pretty used and I could definitely use a new pair.
