New Year, New Scrubs Giveaway

The New Year feels to me as an adult what the arrival of September feels like as a student- a time for a fresh start. What I like best about fresh starts is the chance to get organized. As a student, unused crayons and newly sharpened pencils seemed the perfect recipe for a smooth school year. As a working adult, getting a fresh calendar hung and a few health and career-related resolutions on the books breeds similar feelings of readiness. How is your 2015 going so far?

Now that the holidays are decidedly over and we've all spent at least a week back in our routines, hard at work, I thought we should have one final shout out to the New Year here at MidlevelU.

This week's posts have have been New Year's-esque talking about everything from preventing the nursing school "15" and my 2015 nurse practitioner resolutions to finding more time in your work week and looking back at my NP year. Whether you're a planner and organizer (I just can't help myself!) or not, I encourage you, if you haven't already, to do some soul searching this weekend about where you want 2015 to take you.

In addition to getting organized and healthy, one way to start off the New Year fresh is, of course, with new things. If a clean set of scrubs was on your wish list this year and your family failed to deliver, we can help. To end this week's ode to getting your life together, our friends at FIGS scrubs have agreed to give away a set of scrubs to one MidlevelU reader.

Here at MidlevelU, FIGS are among our favorite scrub picks. They fit perfectly being roomy but not baggy and hold up well in the wash, a must for anything worn in the healthcare setting. And, FIGS even has new skinny scrub bottoms(!) which I road-tested this week in the ER. We also love that FIGS gives back donating one set of scrubs to a healthcare worker in need for every pair purchased.

To win your own set of FIGS email giveaways@midlevelu.com with one of your career related New Year's resolutions. We can't wait to hear what you hope to accomplish in 2015!
