Chat it Up! Connect with NP & PA Colleagues on MidlevelU

I am super excited about two things this week. First of all, it's almost Friday. Yay. Second and most importantly, we've got a new feature to announce on MidlevelU. Some of you Type A's have already noticed that you can now create your very own profile and have taken advantage of doing so. For the rest of you, you're missing out, so it's time to get started. To give you an overview of this new feature, check out the following F.A.Q.

Why should I create a profile?

Where do I begin? You should create a profile on MidlevelU for the same reasons you appear on LinkedIn and more. You may not be a social media maven or a master of posting on Facebook feeds, however maintaining a professional online presence can be a huge asset to your career. Not to mention, it's fun!

A personal profile on MidlevelU allows you to connect with other nurse practitioners and physician assistants in your professional space. These connections can help you navigate the job market or even land a new position. They can help you survey the local scope of practice scene. And, they lead to developing a professional support network, essential to career success.

How do I create a profile?

The first step to getting connected is with MyMidlevelU. Simply create a MyMidlevelU login to get started with your profile. Once you're signed in to MyMidlevelU, click the 'My Account' tab at the top of the screen to upload your pic and create your glowing personal profile.

Anything else I should be aware of?

We're thrilled to announce that with your new MidlevelU profile, you can send messages directly to other NPs and PAs. Whether you're looking to discuss job opportunities, build your professional network, support a fellow nurse practitioner student, or just to chat, MyMidlevelU allows you to reach other similarly minded peers. Don't forget to post on the message board if you have public comments to share or questions to ask as well. Finally, check out our latest video ecourses while you're logged in.

We look forward to connecting with you!
